Was it really November 1st?!

Usually our Novembers in Sweden are dark, cloudy, overcast, dreary, rainy, and drizzly (did I mention dark and cloudy?) and so we have been looking forward to the November here in Virginia ever since we planned this trip.

But we never imagined it would be 76 degrees (24 C) on November 1st!!!

The colors of the leaves on the Blue Ridge Mountains peaked around now too, so we went for a hike up to Humpback Rocks with my dad's international students.

Aren't these colors amazing! Imagine them live!




Esther was more excited about the treat of getting to eat Goldfish than she was about the breathtaking views.
