Overheard on Tarragon Street

Esther hasn't really gotten down the "R" sound yet, especially at the beginning of words. Well, except for Riley and Ryan. She is good at that. Or I guess her real problem is the "r" after another consonant. For example, she can't say "draw" and says "daw".

So, I thought for sure that while we were banging on Pappa's back, pretending he was a drum, that she would say something like "dum!"

But instead, she said really loudly, over and over, "Pappa's a bum! Pappa's a bum!"

Hahahaha!
