N's mom's 50th birthday party

This weekend we went to the island where N grew up

for his mother's 50th birthday party.
Here are some pics.

On the ferry, about to leave for the island.

The ferry's first stop was at another island, Åstol,
where the houses are built nearly on top of each other.

KT assembled the present, an elliptical trainer
(took at least an hour and a half).
N enjoys the fruits of KT's labor:

The party was held in the island restaurant.
It was beautifully decorated and a delicious buffet was served.
Here N's mom has just found out what N's dad
has planned for her birthday: a romantic dinner in the Eiffel Tower!


I took group photos of the guests, and in this one everyone decided to "hoppa".
Thankfully I had a digital SLR camera for the occasion!
