I don't know any other 15 month-olds, so it is hard for me to know what is "normal" for Esther's age. But she certainly always manages to surprise me.
Today the weather was decent enough for us to go to the playground. This is the first time Esther has seen something like this since November, when we were in the US and there was an indoor playground at the mall. She loved the slide there, but it was very short and soft. I wondered what she would think about this "big-kids" slide, which was quite slippery hard metal. Well, after me helping her get the hang of it like two times, she insisted on going down it all by herself! Whoooosh, over and over and over again! She can be so independent and daring sometimes (although she is SO scared of our Swivel Sweeper, so at least she isn't completely fearless).
This short video shows off some of her sliding skills. Towards the end she was playing with 2 neighborhood girls, which is why I am speaking Swedish.

"weeeeeee" must be a common expression around the world; I noticed the "Swedish" girl using it. I wonder if Nigerians use it. I will have to ask K later.
SvaraRaderaShe is super cute as always!
