Sitting here at 3:30 in the morning, with the worst case of jetlag that I have ever had, wishing that I would be tired enough to even WANT to go to bed at all...
We finally got our luggage back today, three days after we arrived. The timing of our arrival was about the worst it could be as far as having lost luggage goes...This weekend the southern part of Sweden had hurricane winds, so the bridge from Denmark (where our luggage was stuck) to Sweden was closed completely, so there was no chance of having our luggage delivered to us.
But now, finally, it is here and I have enjoyed unpacking. We bought all kinds of cool stuff in the U.S. New shoes, new CDs, new electronics stuff, all kinds of things. We were totally blessed while in the great U.S. of A.
My brother treated us to this incredible meal at the oh-so-fancy restaurant where he works. I ate duck for the first time and man was it GOOOOOD! Niklas thoroughly enjoyed his enormous hunk of lamb flesh, as well as the shrimp he had as an appetizer.
My mom fixed us all kinds of fantastic meals and desserts the whole time we were there, so suffice it to say, we ate a LOT while we were over there. We always tend to do that. It is one of the cool things about going back to the U.S. Of course, if we ever moved there for any extended amount of time we would probably both grow quite obese...
One of the purchases I made was a coolio digital camcorder. I am going to start my new hobby/career as a documentary filmmaker. When asked what the subjects of my documentaries will be, I never really have an answer, so please, if anyone out there can think of something interesting, let me know. And yes, I will be giving all of the films English subtitles, so don't worry.
I am serious about some creative ideas for documentaries to make. Or just films in general. They don't have to be documentaries...Just leave your thoughts as comments or e-mail them to me. I am open for just about anything...I just need to get this computer software to work and then I will begin my illustrious career!

hurray for hey da mama who is a chef on a par with Emeril!
To all Swedes and Americans:
Please ignore any comments from a person who is calling herself "hey da mama." I'm not sure when they started letting people in lunatic asylums have access to the internet, but this must be stopped.
