this past week

Last Saturday we were at a BEAUTIFUL wedding that was totally saturated with God's presence. For awhile during worship I completely forgot that I was at a wedding and just got lost in God! It was great!

The only problem was that I was in the seat closest to the aisle, and they had decorated the aisle with these huge tall candle holders with three (lit) candles each, and every time I raised my arms I was about 2 centimeters from knocking down the entire candle holder and causing a fire in this quaint church from the 1600s. AAAAhhhhh!!! I think God in His mercy kept me from that embarrassment...but, I was close a few times, I think!

This week has been...well...I don't know how to describe it, so I won't.

Yesterday we went to IKEA (!) and bought a bunch of small stuff for the apartment, including a big huge ball lamp thingy to hang from the ceiling in the living room and a neat white shelf to put up near the kitchen table.

We also had our car inspected (which by the way is MUCH more expensive here) and there were only two little problems to be fixed which is a major miracle.

My brother moved to Nashville this week, so I guess next time we come to the great U.S. of A. we will also be making a stop in the great country music capital of USA! It would have been nice to go to a hockey game, but I guess that is not going to happen.

Today at the library I borrowed a bunch of books about cinematography and filming techniques and such. I am on my way to becoming a great filmmaker! In the near future my projects include putting together a video from all the footage I took at the wedding and reception, as well as a short documentary about a ministry here called Pioneer Missions. Cool!

Yesterday in school I learned about ulcers and stomach bacteria. Today I am going to look at slides of stomach ulcers! Great!

Stomach Ulcers! YEAH! I am so jealous you get to see those. I had one of those once from worrying too much. I never got to see it, but I knew it was there. OUCH!
Your brother is so very lucky. I have always wanted to live in Nashville. The desire is fading, but I still have a place in my heart for that beautiful country. But then I see some of the places you see in Sweden and I think Nashville can't compare.
I am so glad you enjoyed the wedding. I am also glad that the Lord saved you from burning down a church. I have two weddings in March, so I will pray the candles will be far from where I am sitting. :)
