Random Updates

Well, I have started a new course, this one is BioChemistry. I had my exam in Pathology on Wednesday. I think it went okay...who knows...It will be awhile until I find out.

There are ten weeks left until my summer vacation begins...I have to admit that most of my thoughts are on the trip we get to take to the US. I am really looking forward to that.

For the first time in THREE years I will get to travel to Indiana. The last time we were there was in the summer of 2002 after we got married. There are a bunch of people there that I haven't seen in a LONG time, and a few people (ahem...) whom I have yet to meet. Cool! I am praying that our time there will be refreshing both for us and for the people whom we get to spend time with.

After that, we are meeting up with our friends (from Sweden) Malin and Patrick who will also be spending a month in the US! Cool! It will be fun to show them around to different places and all that.

We have been having almost-spring weather here! Lots of sunshine, but still a little bit chilly, but nothing to complain about. Spring is definitely on the way!

Niklas and I jogged last night during the sunset. It was great! We did pretty well for not having worked out for a long time...

Tomorrow I get to put my filming skills to work and will start to get footage for a short documentary about a ministry in this region called Pioneer Missions.

Otherwise I have been putting the finishing touches on an incredibly romantic video from Fredrik and Elin's wedding. *sigh* How romantic! I hope they like it! (I know at least Elin will!)

Right now I am listening to (and have been for an hour now) some AWESOME sound files from fireonthealtar.com. Man, that is some good stuff.

That passion for revival should never die! The passion for the move of God and the nearness of God should consume our thoughts and our time! We need Him so much.

Niklas is away with some other guys at a hockey match.

We have stuffed our TV in the closet! Who needs the "devil's toolbox" when there is such beautiful weather outside and such a wonderful relationship (marriage) to nurture! So the "dumma burken" is gone. What a relief!

Alright, I'm going to go check out some other people's blogs!!!

I'm fed up! I don't understand Swedish! A translation every once in a while would be nice!!!

I just had something I wanted to say about the translation discussion.
It is true that Katie is now, through marriage, a part of the Swedish culture. Americans should not always demand other cultures to cater to them. We are often self-centered. I mean on our blogs do we translate in Swedish so Nikilas can read our blogs. NO.
Still I like the anonymous poster would like to see a translation. Not because I am fed up with Nikilas's postings in Swedish. I am glad he blogs as much as he does. I want a translation becaue I am much too busy at this point to learn the Swedish language. (And I am awful at learning new languages) But, I also realize Nikilas and Katie are also busy and can't translate all the time. So what am I saying? I don't want to be a burden to my two wonderful Swedish friends. And I think we should celebrate my friends' union and accept new and different things with love and excitement. And if we have the opportunity we should learn the Swedish language.
