Mackerel!

We are on Dyrön, the island that Niklas comes from, visiting his family and enjoying the summer here in Sweden.
Last night we went out to fish - Niklas and I and his father and younger sister Petra.
We caught at least 15 mackerel! It was fun, and the first time I have caught anything. Both Niklas and I caught 4 mackerel.
Now the plan is to make a fancy meal out of that and eat it today. I promised to have one bite, just to try it, since I caught some of it. I will let everyone know how it tastes!

Cool! You are now fishermen/women! Have fun eating the Mackerel. I know how much you just LOVE fish!

It makes me think... that if you are daring enough to try Mackerel... which is something that I know you're not too fond of... then I could probably try Kunle's fish eggs... which is an idea I'm not too fond of. Hmmm... I'll just have to pray about that first though before I do it. :o)

Visst är det kul att fiska !
Härligt att veta att ni är tillbaks till Sverige, vi har försökt nå er utan större framgång. Sakna er !!
Vi ska ha cellens första samling ikväll efter semestern. Alla hälsar säkert !! KRAM

My grandmother always says "Holy Mackerel". Ever since I was a youngen I have wonder what a mackerel looked like. When I read your post I decided to look it up on the internet. So I did and all I can say is... they don't look too holy to me. Enjoy the fish.
