I can only assume that it is posted on here because of it's name. Although, it looks like someone has liked it since 1838 so maybe it's better than my imagination can think up!
By the way...how did you come upon that to post? Just surfing and found a "herring in a jar spread" with a cool name? Interesting....
Just to clarify -- Niklas EATS this stuff, and gladly! He posted it because we had just finished a meal during which he tasted this particular kind of pickled herring for the first time.
One of "Abba's" factories is on the island where we got married. So we got married on a pickled herring island!
