I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

I have some great kingdom news!

We have gotten to know a couple recently who devoted themselves to God and His kingdom about a year ago. She is from Colombia/Sweden and he is from Nigeria; they have lived in London for a long time and are now moving to Spain, but will stay in Malmö, Sweden until she gives birth to their baby girl in a few weeks.

The cool thing is, they wanted to get baptized and so Niklas and I talked with them about it on Sunday night and then they got baptized tonight (Monday)! In the picture below they are sharing their AMAZING testimony of things God has done in their lives just over the past year. Incredible, faith-building stuff...

Then it was time for the baptism! Niklas had the great honor of helping out with that (all in English, of course!)...and this guy from Nigeria, Ephraim, was like a 300 lb. linebacker, a really huge guy...the following photo is from just before immersion...

And the one below is just after coming up out of the water...Unfortunately I took the picture one second too late, otherwise you could have seen the TIDAL WAVE this guy created when he came up out of the water! Niklas literally got SOAKED when Ephraim came up. It was great! (They have changed their last name to "Great", by the way. The Lord told them to!)

And here are the two pre and post pictures of Jessica getting baptized. You can tell she is going to have a baby in about a month!!! What a cool experience for the baby!

Most of our church was present for this and everyone really got touched and blessed. Niklas and I agreed in the car on the way back that this kind of thing should happen WAY more often. It should be a common occurrence. It's just so much FUN! God's Kingdom is truly better than anything else...

That is totally awesome and gave me chills up my spine. You are right it should happen much more often. That is great and an unborn child being baptized still in the womb, awesome.
