Another positive thing about living in Sweden:
After an entire day of rainy and dreary overcast skies, the sun decided to show itself again, BRIGHT AND SHINING, at 7:00(!) this evening!
That gave me enough time and daylight to get a whole bunch of gardening work done (we are growing potatoes, herbs and pretty flowers) as well as to go on a wonderful, long bike ride (thus enjoying the bright yellow fields indicated in the post below).
The downside of all of that?
The sun showing itself, BRIGHT AND SHINING, through our bedroom window directly into my eyeballs at around 4:45 in the morning (and there is still a month left until midsummer!).
I guess Kristina knows what I'm talking about!!!
But, I will take all the sunshine I can get!!!

how about some photos of the garden?
I assume some things are up out of the ground?

I love long days because I love to look out at the sun shining...but I think that 4:45 in the am is pushing it a bit...
try going to kt's wedding and going to sleep at 11pm while it's still dusk and being awoken at 3am by burning sunshine.

I can't say I'd like that. When I sleep I like it completely dark! However, a huge beneifit to that is that I'm sure no one in Sweden ever gets ricketts!
