This past Sunday was the last week of "God's Super School" for this semester. We reviewed for all the adults everything that we have learned these past few months.
And then it was time for Hanna to be baptized! When I asked her why she wanted to get baptized she said: "Because I love Jesus and I want to follow Him all my life," which, of course, is a good reason to get baptized!
The Philipsons have a pool that they filled with water for the occasion (it's a bit early in the season, and the water was 57 degrees!). As the other kids and adults watched, Hanna was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!
It was a wonderful moment and I know God was smiling at us!

After the baptism we had a party! We had ice cream sundaes and enjoyed the sunshine. A little later the pool, despite being 57 degrees, became too tempting for the kids and most of them jumped in. (None of the adults did).
