Well, I thought for sure we were going to get away with a winter having hardly any snow at all...
I was wrong. (Hey, what could I expect? I live in Scandinavia!!!)
On Wednesday it started snowing.
And it kept snowing.
And snowing.
Not in a pretty way, but in a REALLY WINDY way. It snowed so much that on Thursday the snow drifts were so bad that they shut down ALL the buses and ALL the trains in our region.
Meaning, the mice probably like snow days as much as school kids and (as I have learned) teachers!
(I was, however, able to return on Friday and resume the experimenting. As hoped, their little mouse paws are beginning to show signs of arthritis.)
It ended up snowing so much that I think we got well over a foot, and in some areas the drifts are REALLY high. The winds are so bad that they were keeping me up last night!
So today is a stay-at-home, drink-hot-chocolate and snuggle-under-a-blanket day.
We'll come out again around the middle of March!!!

Thanks! We like our new layout too! We chose the colors because we were trying to represent all the colors on our 3 flags. I think we got it!
I will update the "LLL Present Showcase" at least once a week, because I have all kinds of things to show off!
(by the way, stay-at-home Baba will surely substitute the hot chocolate with coffee - which he might even try to get the baby hooked on at some early point in development...)
I'm really liking the new color scheme, too.
