Sitting here far away in Sweden, barely aware of the fact that the Super Bowl will be shown in a few hours time. Sometimes it’s nice to be so far removed so as to avoid getting all caught up in Americana! (although we might actually record it and watch it just for the fun of seeing American football).
The days continue to FLY by. Torturing and analyzing mice all day every day has that effect. Noooo, it’s not that bad. This past week I only injected 7 mice with arthritis-inducers (it should have been 8 but one of them escaped! It reminded me of those kids books when I was young about the mouse with the motorcycle! I imagined the resourceful mouse lady having a ball in the “mouse house”, enjoying herself thoroughly while watching us from a corner somewhere!) This coming week I will have to kill off at least 2 of my arthritic mice so that I can harvest their lymph nodes and conduct experiments on them.
Today at God’s SuperSchool we had a photo scavenger hunt, where the kids were in teams at a shopping center and had to take pictures portraying various phrases in the “Love is patient, love is kind” passage. I was on Emma’s team, along with Emelie.
We also planned our new club for kids 10 and older, called “CK mix”. It will meet weekly, an outreach for kids from 10-13 or so. Should be fun!

First of all....It is really hard not to get caught up in the Super Bowl this year! GO COLTS!!!!!!!!! Secondly, your photo scavenger hunt sounds soooo fun! Wish I was there! And, wish you were here!
Yeah I wish I was there for the scavenger hunt too! What kinds of things did the kids find? Did they take pictures of words or objects that represented words in the passage?
Oh and did you hear what the owner of the Colts and the coach of the Colts said about God at the post-game interviews? They were so awesome - giving all the credit to God. They talked about how they were doing this all for God and how He is the one who brought them here and how great it is to show the world that this is what it looks like to play for the Lord. They were very clear that the recognition and the glory should go to God.
TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE SCAVENGER HUNT!!!!
Go little mouse... run free!

whatever do you need the cuteness of my little one for, whenever you have your own cute-ins right there with you!?!?!? including the mice... poor, cute little mice. You're SO cruel, Katie!!!!! I second Amber's comment... "go little mouse... run free!" Escape the hands of the mad, cruel scientist!
Hello Katie,
How are you? I have been somewhat out of it for the past few years, but I am coming out of it. Thank God that He is so merciful, gracious and compassionate. I thought I was going to absolutely die at times. God has been faithful to me. Anyway, I cant find your email address, so if you would like to send it to me that would be great. You can send it to mine nurstracer@hotmail.com
