An update on what we have been up to the past few days…
On Saturday we went to a store like Home Depot and bought supplies to put down a new floor on our patio, as well as some gardening items.

On Sunday I made a movie with the Super School kids based on the story of the Good Samaritan. I don’t have any pictures of that because it’s better to wait for the movie! I will link to it in a few days.
On Monday we met up with some friends in a nature reserve and had a cookout.
I introduced the concept of S’mores, but it was more like a Swedish version since they don’t have graham crackers here.

okay so if you had no graham crackers, what in the world did you use with the chocolate and marshmallow? don't tell me you used cheese! what did G think of the s'mores?

But...what did you use???!!! I hope you didn't use saltines.. Glad yall had a fun weekend! The porch looks great! I planted a bunch behind my house here too!! Tomatoes, peppers, and squash!
ejdb - the problem with liking to take photographs is that the photographer is hardly ever in any pictures!
beth & kct - we used this thin cookie/cracker thingies that are kind of like animal cookie taste, called Mariekex. The problem was that the chocolate pieces were too thick and didn't hardly melt. Next time I will buy thinner pieces of chocolate!
Although G liked the marshmallows and liked the chocolate and liked the Mariekex, she didn't care for the combo quite as much.
In addition to planting tomatoes we will plant/have planted potatoes, carrots, beans, onions, cucumbers and herbs. I especially look forward to the potatoes at the end of June!
