I was taught to not believe in LUCK!

Today as I was biking to school I noticed some money lying in the street.

I stopped and picked it up. I looked around to see who might have dropped it.

I made sure people saw that I had bent down to pick it up in case they needed to come up to me and say that they had dropped their money.

But no one reacted. So I kept looking around. I still didn't see anyone who it might belong to.

So I pocketed it.

A bit later I looked at it again so I could count how much it was.

It was 400 kr (the equivalent of $58!).

That is a LOT of money! I have never experienced that kind of thing before!

AND THEN, later today I used a change machine so I could get some coins to buy a drink. The change machine gave me 150% of what I put in!

What a weird day!

Wow! You know, something similar happened to me this weekend. I bought a few things for the boys and myself at some garage sales, and threw them in the wash when I got home. When I put them in the dryer, there were two $5 bills in the washer! I'm pretty sure they were not there before... Must have been in a pocket of one of the garage sale finds.

What will you do with the $58?

You're not lucky--you're blessed!

But I agree-that's weird!

Well, that's the kind of thing that happens to me all the time. I find money on the ground quite frequently. The most being $40, but often it's $10 or $20. So, I appreciate your story very much. Doesn't it just make you want to ask God why it is that you were the one who happened upon it? And I always pray that the person who lost it isn't "hurting" because of it.Like, hopefully it's not some single mom whose last bit of money for the week was that $20. Rather it's some movie star who dropped their manicure money or something. Okay, bad example. But you get my drift. Well, that's mega-cool. I hope you find it to be a huge blessing!

Turn it in to the law enforcement.

May must be the month of abundance. I was given a 100 dollar gift certificate to Mejer. I got my car fixed at over 1,000 dollars at no cost to me. And everyone I know is being blessed in thier finances. Including Katie. :)

Tamara, start praying that I would receive some that blessing...it tends to skip us!!! Not that I'm complaining...

Jenny, given the number of movie stars getting manicures in Bloomfield, I think you're reaching a bit ;)

So what did you do with your "found" money?
