You never knew there was a monsoon season in Scandinavia, did you???
Neither did we, but we are experiencing one right now...
It hasn't stopped pouring for about 24 hours (on top of the week or so we have had of it raining every single night).
Some of the roads close to us have literally washed out (as in, the asphalt has disappeared into a giant hole in the earth).
We decided to brave the elements because we needed to run some errands (I had to send off some mail - I have been so many places that now I need extra pages in my passport) and buy some groceries. We walked instead of driving and got SOAKED.

it's called umbrella in English... or raincoat. :o)
umbrella = paraply
raincoat = regnjacka
And in this instance, neither of these were particularly helpful in either language.
regnjacka - that's the jacket I put on while praying... "reign-jacket"... I reign with Jesus Christ in prayer!
