We're back in the 'hood, or the "torp" I guess you could say...
We had an amazing week at the island, more to come on that --> our third summer adventure, including pictures, of course.
One of the major highlights of Niklas' week was inheriting his grandmother's Kitchen Aid Mixer/Blender from the 70's. He has a bazillion plans for it and is excited as can be!
(feel free to comment on the above statement if you like).
Will update as promised within a day!

Awesome news about the mixer. So, is it avacado green or that unfortunate orange that people liked so much in the 70's (enough that they would be inspired to carpet an ENTIRE CHURCH SANCTUARY and upholster every pew so that it would cost thousands and thousands of dollars to update 30 years later--but that's my own issue)?
Mix away!
My Kitchen Aid mixer is probably my most prized possession. I'll tell ya, they are GOOD quality! My mom has had her since she first got married in the late 60's/early 70's and hers still works PERFECTLY. So, I have no doubt at all whatsoever that Niklas will be able to do wonderful things with it. Kitchen Aids rock! I can sincerely say that I am extremely happy for him!
is he gonna make a smoothie with it? a banana smoothie? a banana and strawberry smoothie? that's what i'm talkin about
You guessed it Becky!
Its color is that lovely mixture between orange and brown that was so fashionable back in the day!
