Summer Adventure Number Two

Ännu ett äventyr. Denna gång på Romeleåsen.
Dåligt väder runt oss men helt ok just över våra huvuden.
Another Lorentzon adventure.
This time the weather was threatening the whole time, but it never ended up raining on us.

Uppför!
We started with another hike up to the top of a small mountain…

Liten picknick på toppen. Fin reklam va?!
…where we had a little picnic (see all the funny Swedish words?!)

Äventyr del två - Ett inbjudande spår.
Then we hiked down again, to this train track in the valley...

Älskling full fart framåt.
…where they had these funky little bike thingies that rode along the track (as I was pedaling I couldn’t stop singing the “I’ve been working on the railroad” song).
One person pedals while the other sits next to you and enjoys the ride.

Skall du med eller?

Två glada På Spåret.
It was a romantic way to ride the rails (except for the enormous slugs that got squished by our railbike every five seconds or so) (and except for the fact that you couldn’t talk to each other because the bike was as loud as a railcar) (and except for the fact that our rear ends got vibrated so much that we could hardly walk afterwards).

Ett litet sött föl i slutet…
At the end of the ride we got to see this really cute, young foal.

How fun! What beautiful countryside, someday the Schmitt's will have to come visit. Or at least mommy schmitt. The railbikes look like an interesting adventure.

Oh my gosh that was so beautiful! I take it those train tracks aren't used anymore. So those bikes were just sitting there on the tracks? That's so weird. Can you believe that even all of that beauty is stained by sin? I can't wait to see heaven!

How fun!

I have never seen bikes like that...

Also, I love the bilingual descriptions for the pictures (and appreciate them, too). But it's funny how the Swedish description is like 2 words and the English description is like 64 words...

You and Niklas have great adventures!
