Sunshine again

What a relief! The summer sunshine and warmth decided to return!

Yesterday I actually read outside on our patio…outside! It’s been awhile since I could be outside!

While stuck inside we have been trying to make the most of “indoors-time.”

With the webpage I started for people adopting from South Africa, I used my entrepreneurial skills and it has now become a source of income. It is also fun to read people’s comments and to see that they are getting something out of the website. I am hoping more and more people will start reading it regularly.

Niklas has been hard at work doing something on the laptop (that’s a secret) as well as baking things like a crazy man (rolls, breads, buns, cookies). Not to mention that he always makes us a wonderful meal each day.

I also put together a video montage of pictures from my brother’s wedding, set to background music, and I must say that it turned out really well. That “only” took about a full day and a half! I love having so much time off so that you can actually sit down with a project that you enjoy doing and just give it as much time as you want to.

We have removed TV-viewing from our summer lives, but we have been watching past seasons of “Survivor” on DVD on the computer. I never thought I would like that show, but now I do like it (but only because we have the luxury of watching them when we want to, without waiting a week for each episode.

Today is another sunny-ish day, so hopefully we can go out and finally get back to honing our frisbee-throwing skills again.
