Now that summer weather has finally come to our part of the world, we took advantage of it and went camping, as we had been wanting to do ever since the month of June!
On the way there we stopped for a picnic lunch at an old-timey mill by the river.
Then we drove to our camping site and set up camp.
We have the world's greatest tent.

Then we went for a 7 km hike in the valley along the river.
The weather was perfect and it was one of the most pleasant hikes

Then we came back to camp to make dinner.

The next morning we went "castle sighting"
since there are so many in this area.
The one we found was like something out of an old British novel
and it felt like we were transported back through time.

It was a REALLY cool thing to just randomly stumble upon.

And that castle was so crazy beautiful. We're adding that on to the list of things we're seeing when I come!
I love hiking on those trails that have the wood things like in the picture of Niklas walking through the woods. That looks so cool!
När jag kollar in bilderna vi tog på vår lilla trip igen tänker jag att det är ju fantastiskt att det finns såna fina ställen så nära oss. Ibland åker vi långt för att uppleva vackra saker och det är ju så klart kul men Skåne bjuder på härliga ställen också. Bilderna är tagna inte länge än 30-40 minuter bort från Staffanstorp!
Så den här sommaren skulle kunna sammanfattas med Joyce Meyers boktitel: Njut av livet där du är medan du är på väg dit du ska!
