In the Swedish woodlands

Our good friend Malin turned 30 yesterday,
and her husband Patrick surprised her
with a party out in a quaint cabin in the middle of the woods.
He prepared a delicious Italian buffet and her mom made an amazing cake.

The cabin/house was 175 years old and was still in really good shape.
There was no electricity or running water so we had lots of candles
and had to get water from a well.

Five of us spent the night at the cabin after the party
and had a fire in a wood stove burning to keep us warm!My friend Mati came as well, and she must have figured that
all Swedish birthday parties are like that!
(I tried to explain to her that this one was quite unique!)
