The hubby, the kid and I are preparing to go where I GREW UP and LIVED for many many (many more years than KT has been in Sverige!) years. And today this is what they are getting...

On another note....I am sorry you are sad. Like Becky said, if there was sunshine here we would try to bottle it and send it to you...but alas...all we have is rain, rain and more rain. :)
Well, it isn't just the shortened daylight hours, it is also that even in the middle of day there is no sunshine but rather overcast skies.
So it is more like a combination of shortened daylight hours and what sun there is being covered up by an enormously thick layer of gray clouds.
Is it like that in Alaska too?
You people (T and KT) are competing over who has it worse in terms of no sunshine?!?!

sad news...i must have *accidentally* deleted the picture of me in the hat (the same hat Mati is wearing in the picture).
now, if you are at all depressed about that news, then you know what it is like to experience 5 straight weeks without sunshine!
(though maybe to a somewhat lesser degree)

I was just going to point that out...it can be quite disappointing to a certain someone that my short posts generate a plethora of comments while his long posts generate next to none.

Some people assess their own popularity by how many people they have in their Facebook networks…I choose to base it on the ratio of blog comments to length of blog post.
So I am feeling truly loved!
1) Yes the middle of the day is all "cloudyish" in Alaska.
2)Sarah, get a grip....if you only knew...*sigh*...I suppose it could be worse...but I think I can truly empathize with KT on this one.
3)My SON has such a cute smile, and a cute everything and way about him that it makes my face smile and SHINE! :)
