Today I stumbled upon a blog written by an American volunteer at one of the orphanages in the adoption network in South Africa that we will be adopting from.
I had already been so encouraged this weekend by a comment on our own blog written by someone who used to be a volunteer at that orphanage, and reading the following was another reassuring confirmation of God's perfect plan for our family in the "matching process" between a baby and its new parents:
"On Tuesday I did my first matchings since S left. I was really nervous. I have been praying for weeks for wisdom and discernment. It seems like such a huge responsibility to choose families that will raise these babies. These children's futures are placed directly in our hands. However, our adoption agency is really awesome about giving it to God. They reminded me that we are seeking God's heart, not our own will for these babies. Also, we look for the perfect family for each child. The CHILD is the important part and we seek to meet their needs first. It was a good reminder. And God definitely took care of it...it was so clear to the social workers and to me which families God had chosen for our babies. God is so awesome!!!"

That's totally cool! What adoption agency are using, just out of curiosity...
