A great resource for finding an Adoption Agency (in the US)

Through the blogging world I have gotten to “know” a lot of adoptive families, both in Scandinavia and (mostly in) the USA (since Americans more tend to be the blogging types). I know of families who have adopted from Russia, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, Taiwan….the list goes on.

One of the main decisions for every family after making THE decision (to adopt) is to find an adoption agency that you feel comfortable with and that you are willing to “partner” with through the long roller coaster ride that is The Adoption Process.

There are so many adoption agencies out there, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, pros and cons, and it would be helpful to have a resource that allows prospective adoptive families to gather information about all of the adoption agencies out there.

That is exactly what the webpage My Adoption Agencies does! It is designed to be a site where you can find adoption agencies in the United States. You can sort agencies by the type or race you want to adopt, domestic or international, services provided, etc. It helps you to find the perfect match with an adoption agency that meets your specific needs to start the process of adopting. It really is a great Directory of Adoption Agencies.

For example, if you are a family living in Georgia looking to adopt, and would like to know which agencies are based in your home state, you would click on the link specifically for Georgia Adoption Agencies.

The people behind the webpage say the following about their site: "There are so many adoption agencies out there now that we felt the need to develop a resource on the internet for those who are seeking information."

There are many other helpful links including Adoption News and specific information about International Adoption Agencies.

Check it out!
