Overheard on Tarragon Street

Esther is learning the difference between something being "fun" and "funny". It might be confusing to her because in Swedish the same word is used for both (hence the mistake Swedes often make when speaking English, saying that, for example, going hiking is "funny")

Anyway, Esther was sitting on the potty while I was cleaning up in the bathroom. I tripped over something and lost my balance, and almost fell into the bathtub, which was full of water, and had to demonstratively catch myself against the tile wall so I wouldn't fall.

Upon which Esther burst out with, "THIS IS FUN!!!!" and giggled.

(another one of those "guess you had to be there moments," but it was REALLY funny at the time and gave me a good laugh)
