Two years with our silly, precious, funny girl Esther

Today we've had Sylvia for two days and Esther for TWO YEARS!
Happy Adoption Day, Esther!


We still remember the first moment we saw you, as your caregiver came around the corner carrying you, and we had never seen a cuter baby than that little girl who was looking curiously at us. That first day together was very special and one of our favorite memories as a family!

Esther, you've been our bright star in so many ways, and these past two years have been filled with so much laughter because of you. We are proud of you for the way you have welcomed Sylvia into our family, and it filled me with such joy to watch you laugh so hard at Sylvia's giggles today. I'll always remember how you shouted out "Tack Jesus för Sylvia!" on her second day with us. You are very observant, very compassionate, and your heart already seems to long for justice and equality. We are eager to see what plans God has for your life, and are so thankful for how He is already using you in ours!
