We are - as usual - enjoying our time at the island with Niklas' family.
This is Midsummer Weekend, always a big deal here in Sweden. It's the first time celebrating it for Esther and Sylvia.
You're supposed to eat raw herring - we'll see what they have to say about that! (So far Sylvia hasn't refused any foods!)
Sylvia has really changed so much since nearly 4 weeks ago.
Instead of being a bit reserved and hesitant to smile, she is full of giggles and laughs and loves to make eye contact. She is starting to imitate sounds and motions. She can stand on her own without her legs giving way under her if she is holding onto something. She is close to understanding what position to get into in order to crawl.
She loves all the attention from her Farmor, Farfar, and Faster D and Faster P.
(and can you see that we are fattening her up?!?!?! :o)
She is amazing!

I noticed you had more pictures of Sylvia smiling. I am happy she is warming up to her new life. Esther's glasses are adorable.
I love the sunglasses, Esther!
Maybe it's just my imagination but Sylvia does seem to look more peaceful now.

You should submit that to some sort of photo contest...
