Overheard on Tarragon Street

We were on our way to a fast food restaurant. Esther LOVES restaurants, by the way. She is always in seventh heaven when we're in the USA, because we go to restaurants so much. Here in Sweden we only really ever go to fast food places. But she LOVES that. It's one of her favorite things to do.

So anyway, in the car on the way there, I asked her what she was going to have to eat at the restaurant. She couldn't remember the word for "burger" and was trying to think of how to say it.

So she said, "Mamma, I want a pancake meatball!"

I call my sister's hamburgers "meatballs" because they're so thick.

These entries are absolutely my favorite. I still can't wait until Sylvia starts getting her own entries.

I thought that was a very clever way to describe a hamburger!
