Four years ago today we finally received the phone call we had been waiting and longing for. It was the day that I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders so that we could move forward with what we had been hoping for for such a long time - to welcome our child into our family.

And this is the first photo we received of our precious baby girl, who was 5 months old at the time.
Now here she is at 4 years and 5 months.
I love her like crazy! It is so insane to think about all the emotions of that day, and all the awesomeness that was awaiting us!
