Life is beautiful!

Yesterday was a great day!

Niklas got to be home all day (the school systems here had a winter break) and I was only in school for two hours, so we had the chance to have lots of time together!

Niklas was in the kitchen for hours, making dinner, baking things, cleaning up--he has discovered the secret to enjoying time in the kitchen--books on CD! He hooks up our CD player to the outlet in the kitchen and listens to novels as he makes food etc! It is great!

While he was doing that I worked on the new multimedia presentation that we are going to show at church tomorrow! It is really intensely cool and God-glorifying. I have definitely found something that I enjoy doing for the body of Christ--making cool films!

Yesterday after dinner Niklas and I prayed together just there at the dinner table and it was so incredibly refreshing. It was the highlight of my wonderful day!

Today we helped our friend Gunilla move, which was cool and cold! But the sun was shining today (for the first time in a LONG time) so I was very thankful for that.

This morning when I got up I put on the Misty Edwards CD called Eternity and just enjoyed God for awhile as I ironed. It is pretty amazing to think how close the Holy Spirit can be just during a simple thing like ironing clothes!

Last week we went to a movie and I had the sense that God was telling me that He wanted to teach me something from the movie so that I should have an open heart. We went to see "Ladder 49" which wasn't like the best movie ever but it was very clean and otherwise pretty enjoyable. But what I felt God teach me throughout the whole thing is this: "Life is beautiful!" Just like that: with the exclamation point! "Life is beautiful!" So, I have been meditating on that truth this week and trying to let it sink in. I think I definitely needed to hear that!!!
