I made Esther's birthday cake while she watched (and really wanted to "help"). THAT was an adventure! She got to lick the bowl afterwards, because she is the birthday girl, after all. She enjoyed it thoroughly.
Then we had a little birthday party for Esther tonight with our friends from church. After receiving her presents, cute puppets from IKEA, she clasped her hands and said, "Tack så mycket."
When it was time to blow out the candles she did it PERFECTLY.
Then she had LOADS OF FUN getting the puppet sheep to eat the letters. What a great way to practice!
