Overheard on Tarragon Street

We have a picture of the Nativity (julkrubba) that Esther likes to look at. She points to the baby and says, "Baby Jesus," then to Mary and says "Jesus' Mamma" and then to Joseph and says, "Jesus' Pappa at work?"

Now, either she's just heard that phrase a lot at daycare about her own Pappa and made the connection somehow, or she is on a far deeper theological level than she should be for her age. Who knows?! :o)
